As the first developer in France to be granted ISO 9001 certification, Bouygues Immobilier has signed a framework agreement with CERQUAL under which it commits itself to Habitat & Environnement (H&E) certification of all its residential property developments. This certification addresses 9 sustainability issues, including the installation of systems to limit water consumption, the selection of construction materials on the basis of durability and quality, a clean-site policy to limit environmental impact and providing buyers with information on how to live a greener lifestyle.

Under this agreement, Bouygues Immobilier has applied for CERQUAL H&E certification for all developments granted planning permission since 1 July 2007. This commitment provides future buyers of Bouygues Immobilier homes with a number of important advantages:

- A healthy living environment: a home that is well ventilated and fitted with systems to optimise temperature regulation.
- Lower bills: Bouygues Immobilier installs equipment and systems that consume less energy and limit water consumption, so that homeowners enjoy substantially lower utility bills.
- Adding value to your capital investment: Since 1 November 2006, all existing (non-new) houses sold in France must have an energy performance analysis quantifying their forecast energy consumption and carbon footprint. Habitat & Environnement certificated homes from Bouygues Immobilier have an exceptional energy balance.
- Contributing to sustainable development: Conscious of the urgent need to protect our planet, Bouygues Immobilier selects and uses materials with a low environmental impact, and fits all its new homes with waste sorting bins.
