Bouygues Immobilier, a leading property developer

Residential and commercial property reservations rose by 60 % to €3,642 million.

Residential property:  Reservations rose by 5.6% to 11,465 units in 2007. Regional growth was strong (+11%), particularly in the Rhône-Alpes region and along the Atlantic coast. Bouygues Immobilier delivered 6,535 housing units in France and Europe in 2007.

Commercial property:  343,000 sq. metres of offices were reserved in 2007 for €1,694 million, an increase by a factor of 3.5 on 2006. Bouygues Immobilier had record business activity both in the Paris region and the rest of France.

Bouygues Immobilier gained a strong foothold on the French retail park market, boosted by success in other European countries. The company continued to expand its operations in Europe, which accounted for 6.4% of book sales in 2007

 

Commercial success and excellent financial position

Bouygues Immobilier is in robust financial health. Profits rose sharply, by 15.9%.

• €2,075 million in sales, up 29% on 2006.
• €124 million in net profit, up 16% on 2006.
• €2.9 billion in forecast sales for 2008, an increase of 40%.

The order book stood at €4,065 million, representing 23.5 months of sales, up 65% over the year.

 

 

Residential property: continuing growth in a consolidating market



With a market share of 8.7%, up 0.6 of a point, Bouygues Immobilier was the leading developer on the residential property market. The residential property business reported record results; reservations climbed 8.6% by value.


The recently created serviced residence division grew fast. A total of 1,000 units were reserved in 2007, located all over France. The residences are designed in partnership with professionals and managers with an acknowledged track record in their sector, such as Medica France, Réside Etudes, Pierre & Vacances, etc.

Commercial property: record business activity

Bouygues Immobilier was able to take advantage of buoyant market conditions in the commercial property segment to sell a number of prestige projects. They included four buildings totalling 160,000 sq. metres in the Seine Ouest business district in Issy-les-Moulineaux, the Trianum building in Rueil-Malmaison, the Bouygues Telecom Technical Centre in Meudon and Spallis in Saint-Denis.
