Reflecting its commitment to sustainable urban development, Bouygues Immobilier has joined forces with Ushuaia TV, France's first television channel dedicated to sustainable development. The partnership concerns a series of short documentaries entitled "ArchiNature".
This series of fifteen videos looks at a wide range of subjects, from a house that follows the sun, to positive energy buildings, sustainable neighbourhoods and eco-neighbourhoods. It also provides a fascinating insight into the most environmentally friendly construction techniques.

Bouygues Immobilier and the Home and Environment certification
All Bouygues Immobilier housing units certified by Cerqual
Under the terms of this agreement, a commitment has been made that, from 1 July 2007, all construction permits submitted by Bouygues Immobilier for housing projects will have gone through a Home & Environment certification request process. Bouygues Immobilier is the first French property developer to have made this commitment.
More than 500 members of staff have been trained in the certification by Cerqual and the GreenAffair consulting firm. These training sessions are adapted to the objectives of each role (technical manager, project manager, salesperson and client manager, management team, etc.).
Living in Home & Environment housing provides a guarantee that it respects the environment and protects your wellbeing. A "Home & Environment" housing:
- is designed to favour energy savings (hot water, electricity and water consumption, etc.);
- is pleasant to live in both in summer and in winter, thanks to optimised temperature regulation;
- is well-isolated from outside noise and street noise.
The certification is both a guarantee of optimum quality and an indicator of peace of mind and safety.
