Using the wedding list to support a home-buying plan

Since 1 March, wedding list website 1001 listes has enabled future married couples to use their wedding list to supplement their personal contribution to the cost of buying a new home from Bouygues Immobilier.

The principle of the partnership is a simple one: if a couple uses all or some of their wedding list money to buy a Bouygues Immobilier apartment or house, Bouygues Immobilier will match the amount up to a tax-inclusive limit of €5,000.

If a couple take €5,000 from their wedding list to finance a home-buying plan, Bouygues Immobilier will cut its price by €5,000. The couple will thus benefit from a personal contribution equivalent to €10,000 (€5,000 from the list plus €5,000 offered by Bouygues Immobilier in the form of a price reduction).

In addition, the future home-owners will be offered payment facilities. They will not be asked for a down-payment on reservation and the first payment, equivalent to 25% of the sale price, will not be made until the official deed is signed at the notary's office.

Through this partnership, 1001 listes aims to give the wedding list a new lease of life by extending its range and targeting young couples who dream of owning their home.

For Bouygues Immobilier, the new approach is part of its policy in favour of first-time home-buyers.
