Inauguration of WOODstock, 35,000 sq. metres of office space in Lyon
On 18 September Vincent Ego, Executive Vice President of Bouygues Immobilier Southern France, and Thierry Mépillat, Regional Director, inaugurated WOODstock, an office complex in the Lyon – Saint-Priest Technology Park, in the presence of Martine David, mayor of Saint-Priest, Gilles Buna and David Kimelfeld, Vice-Presidents of Greater Lyon, and Jean-Luc Da Passano, President of the regional development company SERL.
Designed by the architect firm HTVS, WOODstock is a 35,000-sq.-metre complex of offices and business premises comprising 14 buildings in an 8-hectare landscaped park. Nine buildings have already been delivered or are under construction. WOODstock benefits from all the advantages of the Lyon – Saint-Priest Technology Park: within easy reach of Lyon city centre, it is well-served by public transport, including the tramway, and is sited close to road, rail and air links.
The WOODstock project has been approached from a sustainable development standpoint. It is also innovative in its extensive use of wood, the relatively small size of each building and the quality and modularity of the space. In its architectural choices, facilities and utilisation, WOODstock has been designed to meet the new needs of businesses wishing to harmoniously combine economic growth with quality of life.
16 firms have already chosen WOODstock: Alfa Laval, Faure Ingénierie, Chemsis, Avenir Productique, 4D concept, TMI, Lenze, NCR, Condesa BT, INAPA, RBS, TPV Diffusion, ESR, Easydentic and Cortix. WOODstock also has a communal crèche, Les Garderisettes du Parc, with space for up to 56 children. Almost the entire WOODstock development has now been let.
