Bouygues Immobilier lays foundation stone for Lounge Bastille residential building in Paris

On 26 September, François Bertière, Chairman and CEO of Bouygues Immobilier, Olivier Pelat, Chairman of Foncière Référence, and Michel Ciesla, CEO of Batigère Ile-de-France, laid the foundation stone for Lounge Bastille in the presence of Patrick Bloche, MP and mayor of Paris' 11th arrondissement, and Jean-Yves Mano, deputy mayor of Paris in charge of housing.

Located on Rue Sedaine near the Bastille district, Lounge Bastille is a residential programme comprising two buildings and an inner courtyard. Batigère has acquired 12 of the 42 apartments for social housing. The programme features a variety of apartments ranging from studio flats to duplex apartments. Most of the apartments have balconies or terraces.

The work of Cabinet Badia Berger – the 1984 winner of the New Albums for Young Architects (NAJA) competition – Lounge Bastille boasts a refined design that is both resolutely modern and elegant.

The programme's layout, large bay windows and high standards of quality provide exceptional brightness inside the apartments. Most of the apartments have been sold to young executives drawn to the lively Bastille district.

Lounge Bastille is the result of close cooperation between Foncière Référence, Bouygues Immobilier and the City of Paris.
