Our first European subsidiary
Bouygues Immobilien GmbH was established in 1990 in Frankfurt, then in Berlin. The business was born out of the fall of the Berlin wall and the Group’s desire to grasp the opportunities presented by this momentous geopolitical shift. The new company acquired building land on Berlin’s famous Friedrichstraβe, where it constructed 30,000 m2 of offices, retail units and homes for resale.
