A quiet housing market
Against a background of crisis, the number of transactions on the housing market in 2009 was 6% lower than in 2008.
An estimated 1,800 to 2,000 new apartments were sold in the Brussels area, where Bouygues Immobilier does most of its business.
Bouygues Immobilier Belgium has about 6% of the market in the Brussels area.
Bouygues Immobilier Belgium aims to increase that share to 10% and to continue expanding in both French- and Dutch-speaking regions. It is currently developing a 63-unit scheme in Liège, its first project there.

En 2007, Bouygues Immobilier Belgium a mis en commercialisation 3 opérations totalisant 180 appartements sur Bruxelles et a livré une opération de 54 logements..
La filiale belge poursuit son développement avec la maîtrise de terrains représentant plus de 380 logements, dont des opérations dans les régions wallonnes et flamandes.
En immobilier d’entreprise, Bouygues Immobilier Belgium a obtenu les permis socio-économiques sur 2 projets représentant environ 30 000 m² et un permis d’urbanisme (équivalent du permis de construire) pour une première opération de bureaux de 5 400m² à Auderghem.
