Setting the standard for sustainable development

Bouygues Immobilier aims to be the benchmark property developer in terms of sustainable development:

  • First French property developer to undertake to seek Habitat & Environment certification for all residential property programmes. The initiative covers all applications for planning permission submitted since July 2007.
    In the commercial property sector, High Environmental Quality (HQE®) certification is sought for all major office developments.
  • Bouygues Immobilier is at the cutting edge of innovation with the development of projects such as Green Office®, the first large-scale positive-energy building. Green Office includes the latest technologies (solar panels, biomass combined heat and power system fuelled by wood). In operation, it will produce more energy than it will consume. The project is a technological test bed and will enable the company to work with the CSTB to define broad outlines for positive-energy standards.
  • All Bouygues Immobilier's employees are committed to protecting the environment and getting involved in charitable work (e.g. Telethon, "Gestes Citoyens").
