Signal Tower - Bouygues Immobilier among the five finalists in the EPAD tender

Following a call for tender sent out in July 2007, EPAD selected 18 groups to compete for the contract to design and build the Signal Tower in the district of La Défense. Each group is made up of investors, architects and – in some cases – property developers.
We put forward a project for the South Gate site in partnership with an investor, financial group Centuria SAS, and an architect, Jean-Michel WILMOTTE. On 11 March, we were named as one of the five finalists.
.
The main lines of our project are:

Integration of the Signal Tower in an urban park of more than 1 hectare.
Mixed-use building of some 115,000 sq. metres functioning virtually round-the-clock.

  • 9,000 sq. metres of shops and services
  • 50,000 sq. metres of office space
  • 15,700 sq. metres of serviced accommodation
  • 27,000 sq. metres of luxury hotels
  • 10,500 sq. metres of condominiums

High Environmental Quality (HQE) certification: (ten targets with very high ratings and four with high ratings)
Our project is based on the principles of High Environmental Quality and sustainable development. By implementing an innovative strategy, we aim to achieve high standards of energy performance in a mixed-use tower standing 300 metres high.

The winner of the competition will be named at end-May 2008.
