To qualify for the interest-free mortgage, you must be able to meet certain conditions regarding your annual income and the location of your property.

Your annual income must fall below a maximum limit calculated on the basis of the composition of your household and the location of the property.

The conditions to benefit from sPTZ

  • The PTZ must be used only for the purchase of your principal residence
  • Your annual income must fall below a maximum limit calculated on the basis of the composition of your household and the location of the property.
  • You must not have been a property owner during the 2 years preceding the offer of loan (except where the borrower or one occupant of the property is disabled or if the property purchase is made as a result of the borrower’s previous home being rendered uninhabitable following a natural or technological disaster.

Please note: the income used as the basis for entitlement is the total income of all those who will occupy the property:

  • the borrower 
  • any other person not included in the borrower’s taxable household, but occupying the property as a principal residence (e.g. a child submitting a separate personal tax return)

How much could you borrow under the PTZ scheme?

The PTZ amount varies depending on the location of the property: it will be higher in towns and cities where property prices are particularly high.
Locations have therefore been divided into 3 distinct zones: A, B and C.
The maximum level of income is identical for zones B and C, but the maximum amount of loan differs.
