Nature of the project : Office

The project involved transforming the site of the former head offices of the Banque Indosuez – made up of a complex of 11 buildings of varying styles and dates, and varying heights, totalling 23,000m2 – into an intelligent, practical and modern seven-floor building. It now offers 19,500m2 of office space spread over three independent buildings, 22 apartments, five shops, three basement levels and a 50-place crèche for the City of Paris. An internal road has even been created, crossing the complex between Blvd Haussmann and the Rue de la Pépinière.

The renovation has benefited from all the most up-to-date technology. To make the building flow more smoothly, the elevator cages were moved and high-tech elevators now optimize users’ waiting time

As for the decor, elegance and sobriety are the concepts behind the choice of natural materials such as stone, glass and wood which unite modernism and preservation of heritage in the Haussmann façades which have been preserved amid great glassed areas.
