The block benefits from facing in two directions. Light fills the building. A glass wall which rises from the flagstones, light and airy hand rails, minimum fuss made of stores – everything plays on the theme of transparency.
The architect Massimiliano Furgas won the French National Grand Prize of Architecture in 1999.
