People from all walks of life – students, young working people, tourists, business travellers, retired people, the disabled and the elderly – are interested in residential accommodation that meets their specific needs. Serviced residences are the answer.
To help local authorities implement customised solutions of this type, Bouygues Immobilier designs and builds appropriate residences for each user category.
The market has been given an extra boost by the tax breaks available to investors in and owners of such properties.
All Bouygues Immobilier's serviced residence projects seek to achieve three precisely defined objectives:
• Quality
Bouygues Immobilier takes great care with the design and construction of its serviced residences to ensure that they meet the needs of future occupants.
• Protection of the environment
As there is no green labelling scheme for serviced residences, Bouygues Immobilier is planning to introduce a label of its own that meets the strictest environmental standards. Pilot schemes have been under way since 2007, in partnership with French certification bodies CSTB and Cerqual, with the aim of defining a label for Bouygues Immobilier residences that offer medical care and hotel facilities.
• Social diversity
Bouygues Immobilier's serviced residences are designed to blend seamlessly into their urban environment. As real living spaces, they may where possible be integrated into larger-scale and inter-generational urban development projects. For example, care homes for the dependent elderly have been built near a crèche and leisure centre at Montreuil to the east of Paris, next to a student residence at La Roche-sur-Yon in western France, and as an integral part of a housing development in the Paris suburb of Vincennes.
Bouygues Immobilier also adds its sense of service to the mix. Project teams make every effort to listen to all the different players involved, whether elected officials, administrators, managers or occupants, in order to adapt their response to the expectations, needs and requirements expressed.
