Bouygues Immobilier

Intégration

It’s essential for every new employee that he or she becomes productive in their new job as quickly as possible and feels at ease in the new working environment. Bouygues Immobilier therefore pays very special attention to the induction of newcomers.

Welcoming new employees

When you join Bouygues Immobilier, the first thing you discover is a completely new world with its own culture, structure, strategy and working methods.
On arrival, every new employee is supported by:
  • their new team,
  • their manager, who will guide them on a day-to-day basis and meet with them regularly to check how things are going,
  • the Human Resources Department, which organises training sessions for employees at all levels (executive and non-executive) from the Ile-de-France, elsewhere in France and the wider Europe,
  • A mentor, a volunteer member of staff recognized within the company to monitor and assist his/her charges for several months after their arrival.

Finding out more about Bouygues Immobilier

Every new employee attends a 2-day induction course packed with information and the opportunity of speaking with the directors of the company. This course includes:
  • An introduction to Bouygues Immobilier’s various business lines by members of the General Management Committee
  • small group discussions about company values, the outcome of which is presented to Bouygues Immobilier Chairman and CEO François Bertière,
  • a visit to our Showroom; the showcase of Bouygues Immobilier property services.
Executives also attend an induction course dedicated to the Bouygues Group, its areas of business and its values. They also meet with Group Chairman and CEO Martin Bouygues.

Job training for newcomers

Courses in those disciplines specific to property development are also provided for new employees.
  • Every new employee receives training in how to use the IT packages specific to their job.
  • The "Operations passport" (How property development works) course helps new employees understand how their job fits in with the rest of the company by giving them an overview of a property development, from finding the site to handing over new properties to customers. Quality and processes are at the heart of this training.
  • Other industry-focused training courses are provided in order to develop the skills of each industry sector. These make them aware of the role and missions of each member of a team in charge of a real-estate operation.
